ANCIENT SUN DEITY | THE GOD WORTH BOWING DOWN TO!

I often feel proud of our planet earth for our diversity of life forms, culture, languages, and beliefs, religions, found on earth. Even if we can trace earth-like planet that can support human life, I doubt that we may not see such a dramatic diversification anywhere else in the universe. And I also feel sad that most of the resources and energy found on earth that are supposed to be free for use for humans and other life forms are being sold for a price tag for consumption. Even water and oxygen which is an essential element for human existence is for sale, I doubt we may not see this kind of exploitation of resources anywhere else in the universe.
And let's speak about the creator or the god who created this universe, today religion plays a very important role in our daily life, or it used to be, and today religion is a very big business industry, with a global estimated revenues of over 1 trillion dollars Annually, and those revenues are used in building new religion structure and in promoting religion and culture in the name of God, whom we have never seen or no proof of his existence.
So if we, humans, are able to donate and show gratitude towards "God" who is proclaimed to be the creator and preserver of the universe by the religious priests, then what about the god who is really the reason behind the life on earth and reason behind the formation of our earth, other planets and the whole solar system itself, "The Sun" we have proof of his existence and is always visible to humans.
We don't know whether we can exist without god, but definitely, we can't survive without our sun, the sun is the prime reason behind the formation and existence of our planet and life on earth. Early humans were able to recognize the importance of the sun and were efficiently able to utilize for their existence. Sun deity played a very important role in early human civilizations all around the globe; this was the period when humans were nature worshippers, which laid down the foundation for future religions and culture.

Worshipping sun deity can be seen almost everywhere on the planet, and was called different names, namely:
  •          Aztec Mythology = Huitzilopochtli
  •          Buddhist Mythology = Marici
  •          Chinese Mythology = Doumu
  •          Egyptian Mythology = Ra
  •          Greek Mythology = Apollo
  •          Hindu Mythology = Surya
  •          Incan Mythology = Inti
  •          Maya mythology = Ah Kin
  •         Persian Mythology = Mithra

To Ancient humans and civilizations the sun also served some secondary purposes other than providing light, heat, energy, and food, they created the number of calendars divided by years, months, and days based on the movements of sun, a device known as Sundial that would indicate the exact time in day time were used, and ancient humans also had observatories to predict weather.

Many temple structures and pyramids rose in honour of sun deity in many places, and people started worshipping the sun deity for its vital role in humans evolution. And in the later periods, the sun deity lost its prominence but was still able to hold a position in newly formed religions, alongside other deities.
Predominantly, in Hinduism the sun deity is still able to hold a good position among its 33 million gods, in Sanskrit one of the ancient languages of the world, the sun is referred with 52 names, each name glorifying its character and role in humans evolution. And in ancient yoga one of the primary poses/exercises is named after sun (SURYA NAMASKARA, Sun Salutation), which consists of 14 poses.
Sun might be tiny in front of other stars in the universe, but it holds a dominant position in our solar system that alongside our human ancestors, all planets in the solar system respects and depend on the sun for light, heat, and gravity.

On the planet where everything needs to be purchased with a price tag, we're gifted with an unlimited energy source that is un-partial, free and ever-lasting. The only way we humans can ever repay the sun (energy source) is by respecting and spreading the importance of the sun in our existence.
