What Tandav could actually be from the scientific point of view?!
Although the blog focuses on trying to understand the workings and the origin of the Gods and beings who are not actually from this world but are responsible for us, It will be wrong to say that Lord Shiva is also among them (an extraterrestrial) as I have been mentioning in my last posts that the supreme deities (Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh) from the Sanskrit scriptures are 3 different aspects of one supreme energy that is responsible for this whole universe. In short, the whole universe resides in them. They can take any physical form willingly like the 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu. The other deities mentioned in every other scripture are those higher supernatural beings who could have been from other worlds out there. These other worlds were called Heavens. Some of them can be even related to Hell. According to Prophet Muhammad, when he was shown the 7 heavens by an angel who took him on a spiritual journey with earth being the lowest form of them, he described that each of the lower heavens was like a small ring in the vast desert of the higher one. Live a pure dharmic life and you'll know the power of the supreme, how he can transform your life just with the true knowledge of how the universe works. People of Krita yuga (first age) had their dharma so pure that they didn't even need any mantra (Sacred sounds) to use different kinds of energies around them. They could even fly with their own volition. Dharma is the weakest in this age, Kaliyuga (dark age). Hence, the mental and supernatural abilities that we can achieve are of the least possible efficiency today.
You might have heard of the term kinesis. 'Tandav' could be somehow related to this phenomenon. This articles explains how. According to the definition on Google, Kinesis refers to a movement or activity of a cell or an organism in response to a stimulus. This movement depends upon the intensity of stimulation. There's a whole list of more than 200 different kinetic abilities that are defined by the medium being manipulated.

Following are only a few of those abilities which would be enough to explain the science behind the dance of destruction 'Tandav' by Lord Shiva when he is extremely pissed off because of any cruel action that disturbs the balance for good.
Aerokinesis is the ability to control wind currents by utilizing psionics and the mind. With this power, practitioners can manipulate the air around them to change the flow of current and even form gusts of wind.
Omnikinesis is the ability to mentally control anything and everything that exists, organic or created, existing now or in the future, right down to the molecular level. This is quite possibly the most overwhelming and most powerful ability because it involves everything that tangibly exists without exception.
Psychokinesis, or telekinesis, is an alleged psychic ability allowing a person to influence a physical system without physical interaction. Psychokinesis experiments have historically been criticized for lack of proper controls and repeatability.
One person nationally known for claiming psychokinetic ability, James Hydrick, tried to demonstrate his powers on the television show "That's My Line" in 1981. Following several successful television appearances, he claimed to move small objects, such as a pencil or the pages of a telephone book, with his mind.

According to the ancient Sanskrit scriptures, Lord Shiva, who is a supreme deity and most fiercest form of energy, is the one who discovered all the 114 possible dimensions (energy junctions) that human form can consist of. These are called the chakras that can be cleansed and activated to achieve the avatar state. For human beings, the highest number of dimensions that he/she can discover within and achieve the supernatural status is 21-24. Even that is nearly impossible for us today. I believe, for Lord Shiva, in his original form, there might be no limit to these dimensions, hence the penultimate control.
It is said that Lord Shiva is smaller than the subatomic particles and at the same time he is greater than anything greatest. One can make out the extent of his greatness from the age comparison of the deities :
Deva's (the Gods) one day is 1 Earth year and their life cycle is 4.5 million Earth years.
Lord Brahma's one day is equal to 4.5 billion Earth years and his life cycle is 100 such years. This is one full lifecycle of the universe.
Lord Vishnu's one day is equal to 4.5 billion Brahma's years and his life cycle is 100 such years.
Lord Shiva's one day is 4.5 billion Vishnu's years and his life cycle is 100 such years which is a relatively infinite period for us. It's mentioned in the scriptures that even Lord Vishnu doesn't know what happens to Lord Shiva or how he came to be.
It isn't necessary for the Universe or a particular sector of the Universe to live its full lifespan which is Brahma's life-cycle. It also depends on these 3 supreme deities and their better halves to decide that according to the events and situations. They're responsible for the extinctions on a planet to further lay down a new path for evolutionary life and also to stop the cruelty and iniquity from spreading like a virus in the universe through floods, asteroids, or maybe even nukes. The mass extinctions (at the end of one full cycle of 4 ages) only come at the very peak of it (iniquity) on a planet, after Lord Vishnu has re-established dharma several times by taking human and half-human forms in the past. But when Lord Shiva starts 'Tandav', it marks the beginning of the end of all creation.
The Shiva-lingam is the symbol of all the energies in the world and beyond. Not a single origin or form is excluded from Shiva. We have already understood that it is possible to use particular energy around us to work or manipulate anything theoretically and also that we, as human beings have had a glimpse of very basic forms of this natural technique.

So, let's just say this is the most our human brain has achieved (moving pens and leaves) and a little more than that is what we could ever achieve. When we're talking about Lord Shiva, we are talking about someone or something that consists of every possible energy there exists in this whole Universe. Nothing can be without him. So, in short, he has the power over each and every particle, even the ones we don't know and the ones we will never know. When something provokes him very bad and his anger reaches its peak, he starts doing 'Tandav' (the dance of destruction), in which he dances aggressively with his full energy and suddenly all these particles in the universe start doing the same along with him. In scientific language, these particles start getting excited as they go in higher energy states gradually. Almost everybody is taught this phenomenon of atoms and molecules becoming unstable on going to an excited state from the ground state. It's basic science. This instability is not good for anyone or anything. Everything starts falling apart. Even in Islam, Allah is not considered as a particular entity but Allah is the supreme energy that governs the whole universe. The holy Qur'an says that God will assess humanity by the annihilation of all life, resurrection, and judgment. Everything will be shredded into pieces and the angry God will judge humans for their ever-increasing darkness with the ages. In simpler words, it is somewhat similar to what happens during Tandav.
During 'Tandav', everything starts breaking down in the universe like it's some kind of simulation falling apart. Don't mistake an extinction event going on somewhere with 'Tandav'. Of course, that's destruction too but it is not the end of it all. Tandav is! The other one must be considered as a mini reset. He doesn't need to do anything for this. A mere blink with such an intention would be enough. I think that's exactly what we're witnessing today on our planet. Slowly inching towards the end of this dark age (Kaliyuga) on our planet and the start of a new, better one because with destruction comes creation. Even CERN in Switzerland has a 'Nataraja' statue at their campus which is nothing but the dancing form of Lord Shiva. That means, even the best of the highly educated ones of our planet agree to the existence of this supreme governing power of the universe.
